GAP TPA THX1800 active speaker amplifier (220V) Description

The THX1800 is a stereo 3‑way active speaker amplification system. It consists of two 500W industrial‑grade power amplifiers with sensitivity adjustment for the woofer, and four 150W amplifiers for the midrange and tweeter. Balanced inputs allow seamless integration with professional analogue or digital crossovers from top manufacturers such as dBX.

This architecture enables the use of 3‑way loudspeakers without a passive crossover, effectively improving microdynamics, allowing room correction, and—when paired with a digital crossover—enabling phase‑linear system configurations.

You can easily combine drivers with different sensitivities, as well as upgrade the midrange and tweeter to higher‑grade units, significantly improving your system’s audio performance without needing to purchase an entirely new set of high‑end speakers.
